(some spoilers, be warned!)

the harry potter series played a big part in my childhood, so it feels kind of bittersweet saying goodbye. arguably, i think this is the best book in the series. the characters have matured and grown so much, the plot progression i think is great, and the ending is super satisfying. i like how rowling makes references of even the smallest things from other books, like how they accidentally threw away the real locket back in book 5. my favorite bit was when harry takes a trip into snape's memory; it was interesting to see how harry's attitude towards snape completely changed when he learned why everything was the way it was. it was also satisfying to have some questions be answered.

even though jk rowling is pretty problematic, i can't deny how great the harry potter series is. i totally recommend it for those who are looking for a new book to read. one thing though, it starts to get darker after the fourth book or so (a couple years ago i stopped reading the series after the fourth book because i didn't want anyone to die), so if you're not a big fan of death, then this probably isn't the series for you

If you're looking for a book to read, I recommend this whole series. Book 1 and 2 I read in grade 4 and 5, the rest I read in grade 6. I think books 3 and over to be 10+, because from that point it gets more dark (and more fun)!
Nvm back on topic, the 7th book is completely full of adventure. It's kinda sad that there are only 7 books in the series. But it definitely leaves with you satisfied. It's an amazing read. I must admit, J.K Rowling is an authour with a great writing flow. No book ABSOLOUTLY NO BOOK can compare to this series.
If you love this book so much and want to watch the movies, I'd say it's 11+. Seriously. I have a younger sibling (I'm not going to mention his name, I'd not want to embarrass him, Krishnastar) and he got REALLY scared when he watched the second one. He was about eight when it happened. So, please follow the age guidelines for the movies.
Now let's not get all over the age ratings. I think that it's a really good book. The 7th book may be a little boring when Harry's hiding (oops! Did I spoil it for you?), but then he finishes with doing the one thing he's been dreaming of doing... repaying Voldemort. I'm not spoiling it anymore! Oh, but Ginny and Molly... HAHAHA! Oh, and Ginny and Cho.. a bit of bad blood!
"Not my daughter..."
I really got addicted to this book. I finished it in two days (ask anybody, my mom, my dad, my best friend, etc.) becuase it was such a good read, and I didn't want to leave it off then go do my other work. The only thing wrong about this book, is, if you're a srong reader, then you can't put it down!
There are a few sad parts in the series, like when Dobby dies. On his grave, it says; Here Lies Dobby, A Free Elf. You might be saying: DON'T SPOIL THE WHOLE BOOK! Okay, I won't, but if you think you're too precious to view sorts of stuff like this... You still have to. This is top-class. The ending totally makes up for everything, and I'm sayig there's nothing wrong with the middle. The climax is SO superb.
I'm sad that I finished the series, but I'm happy at the same time. I'm sad because I wish there were more books to read in this series! But, I'm happy because now I finally reached the end of this. Anyway, this book (and series) is a MUST-READ! I'm not really optmistic on every book, so if this is coming from me, you know this is a good book.

P.S. If I haven't persuaded you to read, then I don't know who can.

Oh my gosh this book is amazing! It's definitely one of my favorites when it comes to the Harry Potter series. It is a bit dark compared to some of the other books, so I wouldn't recommend it for kids- it's more for teens and adults. Basically, Harry must embark on a journey to find and destroy all the Horcruxes, so that he can once and for all rid the world of the its most dark and dangerous wizard- Harry's nemesis- Lord Voldemort. Ron and Hermione, who of course insisted upon joining him, help Harry on his quest, the trio all the while fleeing from Voldemorts followers- the Death Eaters. But, in the end- wait, I'm not telling you. You have to go read it! (and I recommend
reading all of the other 6 books before this one because otherwise you'll have no idea what's going on)

Reading the last book in the Harry Potter series is a little emotional for me. We've grown up with Harry and his friends, watched their characters develop and endure hardships, and finally read as it comes to a close. While I might not be the biggest fan of J.K. Rowling herself, the world she created was incredible and provided a fictional sanctuary for millions of people of all ages. Harry, Ron, and Hermione leave Hogwarts in order to hunt down horcroaxes as it is their only way to defeat Voldemort completely. We watch them struggle to obtain and destroy them, and finally read about the Battle of Hogwarts. I am incredibly sad to finish the series, but after you the read the books you always have the movies to go watch :)

No one's books ever hit me like J.K Rowling books. her books are expressive yet so emotional. I've read pretty much all her books although the Cursed Child was a disappointment to literally everyone including my siblings I suggest reading the original seven books. I am really happy that I read the harry potter series at the right time

This is a very fulfilling end to the Harry Potter series. It really demonstrates how there is no peace and tranquility without chaos and sacrifice. I just finished rereading this series during quarantine and is incredible how many great aspects of these books slipped my mind since I first read them. I cried the first time I read this book and I cried this time. There is are some incredibly fulfilling bits of character development in this book and it has its fair share of twists. And one of the coolest aspects of this book to me is that we get to see characters that we normally wouldn't focus on in a new light.

If there had to be a knock on this book, it's that things really get tough in the book at times. This book is not all rainbows and unicorns. There were certain points in the book where I took a short break away from the book because it was difficult to get through. In the end, my love for Harry Potter got me through those bits and it was well worth it. I cannot think of a better ending for these books so I highly suggest you check it out if you liked the past books. - Martin, Grade 12

Deathly Hallows has a great story line. I think that the story dragged on a little, and every now and then I had to power read. This book might need concentration, because it does get chaotic at certain points. It takes you down a rollercoaster of emotions. You'll feel ecstatic, happy, but you will also feel sorrowful at certain points. The ending leaves you feeling good, but also a little sad. It is a wonderful conclusion to the Harry Potter series.

There were heavy footfalls behind them, and a great deal of puffing: Slughorn

“Harry!” he panted, massaging his immense chest beneath his emerald-green silk pajamas. “My dear boy. . . what a surprise. . . Minerva, do please explain. . . . Severus. . . what. . . ?”
“Our headmaster is taking a short break,” said Professor McGonagall, pointing at the Snape-shaped hole in the windows.
