Join Mick Jeffries, a Kentucky Arts Education Artist, for a welcoming, hands-on ukulele residency designed for lifelong learners who want to try something new while connecting with others. Presented through the Kentucky Arts Council’s Creative Chapters Library Program, this grant-funded series gives participants the chance to learn ukulele basics, build confidence, practice together, and enjoy the experience of learning as a group.
No previous experience is needed, and ukuleles will be available to use during class. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or simply looking for a fun way to stay active and engaged, this series offers an easygoing place to learn, practice, and meet new people.
